Giving from outside the U.S.? Give through one of our partners to claim tax benefits.

You can always give directly online from any country, but to receive tax benefits, you can give through one of our partners below.

🇦🇺 Australia

You can give a tax-deductible donation two ways:

Via The Life You Can Save Australia
Via Effective Altruism Australia by selecting “I would like to choose how to allocate my donation”, and then selecting GiveDirectly from their list of recommended charities.

🇨🇦 Canada

You can give a tax-deductible donation through RC Forward by selecting “Cash transfers sent directly to families in extreme poverty” on their donation form.

🇨🇿 Czech Republic

You can give a tax-deductible donation through Effektiv Spenden by selecting GiveDirectly under the “Fight poverty” category.

🇩🇪 Germany

You can give a tax-deductible donation through Effektiv Spenden.

🇳🇱 Netherlands

You can give a tax-deductible donation through our donation page. GiveDirectly is registered as a Public Benefit Organization, RSIN: 8257 94 948. Please email [email protected] if you’d like to make a recurring donation.

🇳🇿 New Zealand

You can give a tax-deductible donation by giving through Effective Altruism New Zealand. At the bottom of the page, you can choose to donate to “GiveDirectly cash transfer program” which goes to our large transfer program, or “GiveDirectly basic income research” which goes to our basic income program.

🇳🇴 Norway

You can give a tax-deductible donation through Gi Effektivt. When you donate, choose “Velg fordeling selv”, and then change the percentage from GiveWell to GiveDirectly.

🇪🇸 Spain

You can give a tax-deductible donation through Ayuda Efectiva.
