In the midst of shrinking aid budgets, your support is more crucial than ever. Reaching this year-end fundraising goal will unlock over $1.7 million for our highest priority work in Africa next year. On top of delivering our flagship large lump sum transfers, we’re piloting programs that will:

New research this year showed the impact your donation has for mothers and babies.
A new study on GiveDirectly’s program in Kenya found that your donations have been saving babies’ lives, with a $1,000 cash transfer cutting infant deaths by 48%. Cash enabled mothers to better care for themselves and their children:
- 🏥 45% increase in hospital deliveries
- 🥣 44% decrease in kids skipping meals
- 🤱 51% decrease in mothers working during and after pregnancy

All donations through this page will be matched (1:1, or 2x) until 11:59PM PT on Dec. 31st, or until $873,076 in match funds is used.
This is a “true match”, so if we don’t reach our $873,076 goal, the leftover match funds will expire.
